FOLLISTATIN

The Follistatin gene, responsible for the production of the Follistatin protein, has a significant impact on muscle growth and metabolic function. Follistatin acts as an inhibitor of the myostatin pathway, allowing an increase in skeletal muscle mass and overall physical strength.
